I read @afrochicks story and was inspired (still am).

I want to tell stories on a large scale (make films).

I know I need money for this so I put it off so I can work and save enough to fund my indie filmmaking dreams. 

Sometimes it feels like I may never break even lol.

However, I will take lessons from Naomi's journey and start now knowing that everything will work itself out.

Have a look still, cos I know BFI offer quite a bit of cultural outreach type projects so there may still be opportunities for international inclusion/partnership. It might be worth getting in touch with them with your idea aswell. Nobody would expect you to fund a film from your own money, but plenty of opportunity out there for funding if you dig deep and far enough
