Can someone help me understand the link between Warpcast, handles like @miracolixe, .cast handles and FIDs? Trying to get my head around it.

Warpcast is (the most popular) client on top of Farcaster. There are other clients like @supercast as well. Your handle is just your account name and can be moved across FC clients (with your entire social graph like followers, cast history etc.)

The FID is the one part of this thats on chain. It’s your Farcaster identity number and is just given sequentially. The founders have FID #2 and #3 Yours is 269146 Hope that helps!
