Wow! big THANK YOU to @dwr.eth and the whole Farcaster community for the insane welcome. You all really know how to make someone feel at home. 🫶 Been here for a few hours and I’m already hooked! The vibes are unreal, the community’s top-tier, and ngl, it's contagious. Wouldn't be surprised to see Elon eying his next acquisition 😂 "Breaking: Elon Musk makes $40B bid for Farcaster" 🤣 Seriously though, what are the biggest challenges right now? Where’s help needed to keep Farcaster scaling? Let’s get the next million builders and community members in here. 🚀

i'm not an og farcaster user but i'll say my piece as a builder and this isn't about farcaster directly but we need to prioritize and value builders more here (and on @base in general) read about this recently https://warpcast.com/ionspired/0x293aae5c builders need to be given more attention here that would be really cool

Appreciate this take, completely agree that builders should be at the center, especially in an ecosystem like Farcaster + Base. Checked out the post, and it raises some solid points. Curious-what do you think would move the needle the most? More visibility, better funding, something else?

i'll tell you from my perspective -> more visibility more visibility brings more money. but mere visibility will do nothing. people need to differentiate between a quick pump/dump scheme and truly valuable products. and the people who build products need to understand that rug is ngmi. create value -> get value, that's simple. i'm talking more about the industry problem of course. i don't want to dilute the original idea behind your question about farcaster more like a tech + cult movement rather than a meme + cult. i want @base to be a catalyst for the next gen of tech in crypto because people here are actually trying to build rather than thinking about how to squeeze more money out of people

more support for great products. tried to find og cast from @proxystudio.eth about how @clanker generates revenue and you can easily manipulate things and somehow extract money, but real builders will never do that because it is more profitable to get to the top of the mountain with people who support you and your product. win-win situation. couldn't find og cast though big products from big people -> more visibility and attention to them from others small products from small people -> more support from big people, therefore more visibility and attention to them from others also many people try to promote and build rugs and you cant just support everyone but things are easily verified with one simple call or presentation. you can immediately understand if someone is creating something cool and for a builder there is no need to cast about it every day for a year to get noticed

Agree with you that visibility alone isn’t enough. It needs to go to the right builders, the ones creating real value, not just playing the short-term game. The industry’s been too focused on hype cycles recently, but long-term, the real winners are the ones who build sustainably. I think @jessepollak and the @base team really get this. They’ve been pushing for a long-term, builder-first ecosystem where tech and culture grow together, not just another farm-and-dump cycle. In terms of visibility, what do you think would help the most on that front? More curated showcases? Better discovery tools? Feels like there’s still a gap between great projects and getting them the right attention. I always thought that mass adoption would come when we stop talking about blockchain, crypto and web3 and we use the tech and applications in a user-friendly and intuitive manner

we can not even talk about people who do not know what web3 is yet. there are already enough people in crypto who can move the industry forward. there is already enough liquidity here. we can only imagine what'll happen if more people will come onchain

about visibility -> curated showcases and projects might help. i have an idea, if there were more opportunities to start a new project and get more people to collaborate with you on your project, that would be awesome. i can imagine people coming to farcaster with a fresh idea and they can instantly get feedback on it, like i said, collaborate with other experienced and known people here you can imagine how small everything is here. a few days ago i casted asking people for feedback and only got it from a few people i know and they know me a little. even big builders do cast and get no feedback or little feedback. i am really happy when i see builders supporting other builders and building with other builders. as you said there are a lot of good vibes on farcaster. we just need more people with this strong good vibe
