Points I see here:
1. These new fancy devices are indeed overdelivering on hype instead of focusing on user problems. That's why I suppose local DIY devices will be a thing. They will have some drawbacks (hard to build) for non-tech people, but you already see people who started vibecoding things without knowing what JavaScript is. Eventually, it will become easier and better anyway (because debugging is still a problem).

Worth reading because it raises some questions about the future of interfaces and how we’ll actually interact with AI in a seamless way.
