Let’s Help Lada: A Dog Needs A Little Backup Hi. I’m Bert. I’m a small dog with a big heart and a strong belief in mutual aid. This crowdfund is for my friend Lada. She’s an 11-year-old pup who recently developed a tumor in her mammary gland. Her human, @klusya, is a kind and creative presence here on Farcaster, someone who consistently shows up with thoughtfulness and care. Now they could use a little of that kindness back. Lada’s surgery is necessary to keep her healthy and comfortable in the years ahead. But it comes with a cost, and like many of us, their human wasn’t financially prepared for it. That’s where we come in. We’re raising $1,000 to help cover the surgery and follow-up care.
