totally agree with you on all this....i wasn't confused by the ending but excited and curious as to where these roads are leading.

I'm confused by the ending, but expected that.

Overall the game is MARVELOUS. It innovates in ways consistent with the series mechanics (more active, less plodding) and kept that balance of "serious story about a serious calamity" but also "let's be magical frogs and fuck around" vibe that made the original so weird and wonderful.
