The theme of today has been edge. As AI makes plausible sounding answers abundant, the strategic bottleneck shifts to framing the right inquiry (prompting ty tobi). As a result we are moving from environments of operation risk to structural uncertainty where the rules governing the systems are constantly evolving. What matters is agility in orientation, not mastery of yesterdays facts. True innovation occurs when we redefine what “better” means? Finding the edge.

In a world where everyone has access to the same data, conviction is built through emotional regulation and narrative scaffolding. Some questions arise: 1. If everyone is building better sell side frameworks, how do you build an edge? First thought is talent, you want people who have not just seen shit but built shit as close to the bare metal. 2. How well can you augment intelligence? Anyone can throw shit into GPT and get an output. Reminds me of the Founders poscast I posted last week about Ken chartering jet streams to interview every enron employee. You dont just want to win, you want to win in a landslide. 3. All the systems engineering coursework and case studies have finally paid off. Patterns are great and all but bridging between two different (and complex) systems is a skillset that many dont have. Who can do it the 'most' efficient?

"The top 10% of Americans own 88% of equities. 88% of the stock market. The next 40% own 12% of the stock market. The bottom 50% has debt. They have credit card bills they rent their homes. They have auto loans and we've got to give them some relief." https://youtu.be/zLnX1SQfgJI?t=1733

Years of watching the Terminator, Bourne Series and Minority report has prepared us for this...right? 1. Corporate Governance becomes de facto global governance 2. Monitoring armies will likely be ineffective 3. Espionage is back in the public eye, will be called 'policy capture' AI 2027 | Source

gooooood morning tarrif enjoyoooors. Risk assets continue to slip but this visual shows the real engine is global user adoption and data. Companies with massive cross border user bases can still reroute revenue across an assortment of subsidiaries distoring the metrics your cnbc shows you. Think music streaming, game downloads, ecommerce and ads. Difficult to capture that flow when companies operate worldwide and juggle revenue among different jurisdictions study the network effects

People say incumbents can do more with new technology but they usually force unexciting features. Real transformation happens when startups focus on one potent use case and nail it. Tbh winners will stand out by delivering great UX. The tech remains tablestakes and as i said above, flexibility is key Scarcity & Abundance | Source
