Messy code is more likely to hide bugs and harder to write. A good interface is easier and safer to use. Messy, low-level code breeds more such code.

I usually start with a messy and not at all opti code to get straight to the point (POC) then a few hours/days later I rewrite everything super clean. At least that's how I've worked for over twenty years. Clean code > all! Totally agree ๐Ÿ‘Œ
