I want to be more active here, just pilled by the one and only @dwr.eth 

Any tips to get (re)started? Where to post? Who to follow? Basic tips?

Cast daily.  Engage/comment more than you cast from main.  Toggle between main feed and following feed. 

Try new frames.  Check out some channels and find one that you like to post in regularly for a week or two.

This is a good start! I would recommend bootstrapping your following off a few starter packs and then culling back if the feed ends up too noisy. Also be sure to spend a few days lurking and replying to get the general vibe of FC because its meta is different from other social networks! Plug for my starter pack which includes a bunch of people that I have become friends with through FC or has people that are very active/willing to engage:
