Devex is better, no need to worry about infra and more straightforward to understand scaling

Chain just works

RPC issues, uneven client connections, connection management, multiple chains and tx hand offs. To say nothing of the user experience of multiple tokens on multiple chains with different "canonical versions". While the devex of deploying and running smart contracts can be good interactions and UX are a nightmare.
