In 2025, World Wildlife Day will focus on the critical theme “Wildlife Conservation Finance: Investing in People and Planet.” This milestone year also marks the 50th anniversary of CITES coming into force.

Continuing the collaborative spirit of past celebrations, World Wildlife Day 2025 (WWD2025) will serve as a platform for idea exchange, showcasing solutions, and advancing discussions on innovative financing for biodiversity conservation. The event aims to encourage private sector investment in wildlife conservation and promote a sustainable future.
