I haven't listened to this podcast yet, but I have read Dr. Kennedy's latest book. Unpopular opinion, but I disagree that kids inherently know and want to be "good". Therefore it's of utmost importance that parents shepherd children with a framework of what's "good" and give boundaries.

Ok that’s interesting, thanks for sharing! I would assume that “good” here is very contextual and likely = the values the parents practice. So maybe her statement implicitly depends on kids learning what’s good from the parents. TLDR I think you’re right, and your point might not clash with her theory
