I've been questioning some beliefs, why I have those beliefs

I completely agree with your new beliefs. I think every human being is responsible for their own behavior and actions, and we only succeed when we try, not by going to church and praying.

That I can only prosper when I give to a pastor. That something bad will happen to me if I miss church for one day. 

They seem childish but I've been living by these beliefs and I'm only just questioning them now.
