We should have online meetings with a feature: - every user has a time quota for speaking, e.g. 60 seconds - when the time is out, they're automatically muted - they can speak again after a cooldown, with the quota renewed - every user can boost the current speaker's quota once per turn to let them speak longer - users can vote to immediately unmute a speaker before cooldown is over People have tendency to speak longer than is efficient, and listeners usually won't actively stop the speaker due to being polite or just lazy to express their opinion. Therefore calls default to overspeaking, absence of engagement, unnecessary length, i.e. they default to inefficiency. If it requires an active vote from listeners to extend the speaker's ability to speak (can be anonymous too), calls will default to brevity and promote engagement. Do you agree?

It makes sense to account for BTC dominance in your crypto portfolio, but the problem is it doesn't matter during the bear market, because essentially all your crypto portfolio is losing value anyways. And instead of taking profits in USD I suggest taking profit in XAU, because USD is constantly losing value too.

1. Trump plans to weaken the dollar, which is already consistently losing value. 2. The dollar has lost 30% of its purchasing power over the past four years while its supply quadrupled in 2020. The economy hasn't quadrupled, so you do the math. 3. Fiat is a tool of exploitation by central banks. We created blockchain to escape the banking system, but as long as we measure value in fiat, we remain hooked to that system. A unit that goes to zero all the time is a bad unit. Unpeg your mind from fiat!

My humble forecast for Bitcoin vs. Gold. Stay in Bitcoin until mid-to-late 2025. During the second half of 2025, gradually transition from Bitcoin to gold. A year later, switch back again.

I'm referring to my very first message in this thread. I signed up with Supercast and now trying to use the same account in Warpcast, but it keeps failing. Hence I cannot use DMs nor any other Warpcast features until I get to sign in from Warpcast with my account! How did you guys do it? Or you didn't register with Supercast at all?

When you weren't hunting the airdrop like everyone, actually didn't even hear about it. Only genuinely used the platform for 1.5 years, contributing to its initial growth. Weren't retroactive rewards originally designed to reward exactly that?.. The game of cat and mouse they have become now feels weirdly misaligned.

I find it kinda funny that the 2015 study on the efficiency of prediction markets to estimate research reproducibility you referred to in your info finance post, later failed to be reproduced: https://replicationindex.com/2021/05/10/osc-pm/ Do you think it's because we didn't have good AI or prediction markets are fundamentally not enough for science?

@woj.eth Can I use my account from both Supercast and Warpcast? I signed up with Supercast but importing it to Warpcast doesn't work well. Tried using recovery phrase , it gets stuck when requiring an email confirmation (fails to send it). Another option is recovering via email, but it will reset the recovery phrase completely, will require 72 hours for review and I imagine will sign me out of Supercast, which I don't want. And Warpcast's "pair with another device" feature doesn't even seem to be an option with Supercast πŸ™ˆ How is it supposed to be done?
