Outstanding! That’s an even weirder burden on the relationship than what I deal with lol my wife is a nurse who works overnights 3-4 times a week, so I’m doing bedtime for the kids, sleeping alone, and getting them up and ready for the day, it’s been years on this schedule but I’ll never get used to it

Yes, you're right, it's impossible to get used to it and very hard to maintain good relationships. It's quite a challenge! After coming home, we have to get used to each other all over again. It's probably the same for you, almost like being a single dad :) It's good that we have the internet now and can always call when I'm at work. When I started my career in 2012, there was no connection at all, and the first thing I'd do when arriving at a port was to run and buy a SIM card in any country to call home.
