This week I built: 🔵 In regard to @jessepollak vision of "Onboarding a Billion Users to Base" I took a baby step in the Base ecosystem by getting invited to /base-builds by @sagethorgrin Special thanks to @lotacrypt & @jackofweb3 🥂 🔵 There's a saying "Knowledge is power" The more knowledge you have, the easier it is to build. So, I researched the Base ecosystem & learned a lot from Base.org 🔵 Designed a flyer to connect with more people and create awareness about Base. This week I built... 🔵 i created a simple dapp features: (connect wallet, switch between testnet and mainnet, initiate transaction and displays verified assets) on 2 blockchains (BASE & Algorand) to compare the developer experience, which both have a unique advantage when compared with the other but omo no place like base: https://github.com/Miracle656/pera_challenge 🔵 Tried to create a basename feature for the Algorand blockchain featuring AlgoDID, not there yet, pretty hectic but was opportuned to learn alot along the development process Check the comments 👇

This week I built: I successfully deployed smart contracts on Base Sep, utilizing the resources from the learning documentation on base-learn at docs.base.org/base-learn. It's been great to immerse myself in the intricacies of smart contract development and gain hands-on experience. Additionally, I took the time to deepen my understanding of how arrays work in Solidity. This has been a crucial learning point, as I've been pushing all my development-related work to GitHub for better version control and collaboration. This week I built: After sharing the Base vision with over 1,000 young minds last wèek, the energy was contagious. A few of them didn’t just listen—they wanted to build. That’s how our new community for young devs, writers, and creators was born. We’re calling it Based Ones, where fresh ideas and creativity collide. The first onboard? A 16-year-old dev with an unstoppable spark. I helped him claim his basename, and we dove into an onboarding call that was equal parts tech deep dive and a glimpse into a world he’s ready to help shape. Onboarding sessions kick off again next week, and I’m pumped to welcome more promising minds. I’ve made it my mission to spread the Base message far and wide—this is only the beginning. Nothing will stop me.

This week i built.... 🔵I got onboarded the previous week through a onboarding call hosted by @abdulkabeer and other amazing co-host @dxfareed , @rolly-rowland and @jackofweb3, ✓ @abdulkabeer went ahead and minted me a basename to start my onchain journey ✓ I took the whole week to recognize all the Based visionaries and their efforts in the @base ecosystem ✓ I set up my @coinbasewallet understanding the integration of using it and I learnt all the security measures that are meant to be taken ✓ I joined mr @homer27 and @bweallth daily builders space for the first time and I was welcomed warmly and advised to take my niche in the space seriously and understand the value of collaborations (the valued relationship I will create in @base ecosystem as i continue to grow Cc @seneca @kabir @jessepollak @kokocodes @baseafrica @sir-damilare @iamcharis @statuette
