“Wirth’s Law” stated that software gets slower as hardware becomes faster. Perhaps we’re in store for new law: software becomes less readable as AI becomes smarter. No need to write clean code when AI can explain it to humans.

I wholeheartedly agree, especially w/ neuromorphic chips. even with transformers, I don't think we've seen an upper limit for nesting them within each other, where the most optimal processes are operations performed over many vector spaces. AI may likely explain many rules & many phenomenal models to itself.
