let's talk about anxiety and imposter syndrome

just before my first season as a triple jumper i was diagnosed with anxiety and ADD

the first picture was taken just after i had won the english schools championships becoming the best youth triple jumper in the country

but i was too scared to celebrate, i felt imposter syndrome, like i didn't fit in and that i wasn't good enough

over the last decade i have slowly learned to have more confidence, self belief and stop allowing anxious thoughts to stop me from putting myself out there and achieving my dreams

it was pretty full circle moment when i won my first senior international medal in 2022,  running around and celebrating in the exact same stadium as that shy 16 year old who didn't think she was good enough

if you're reading this, i want to remind you that you are not your thoughts and you are SO more powerful than you think.
