my main problem with AI is that it might advance to a point where most humans can no longer add value within our lifetimes, and finding meaning will likely shift from productivity and achievement to something else

abundance is probably good for most of the population, will increase quality of life for a lot of people living in poverty, but for me as someone who has basic needs met i don't think it sounds great

I hope that people find meaning in their relationships and we transition back into more kin based societies rather than this lonely individualistic path we’ve been on
