my main problem with AI is that it might advance to a point where most humans can no longer add value within our lifetimes, and finding meaning will likely shift from productivity and achievement to something else

I hope that people find meaning in their relationships and we transition back into more kin based societies rather than this lonely individualistic path weโ€™ve been on of AI can create more time to spend with my family and friends in all for it. Still think this is a time of peak ignorance, even Einstein predicted that a time would come where resources for information would be readily available but they would be the dumbest generation.
