yeah, it was an easy to set up minting platform with a clean UI and local bridging, among other useful features. This is basically just pump dot fun, it invites all the people many of us artists have been actively avoiding- the folks who don't care about art, only the money they stand to make from it.

I'm admittedly on the more extreme end of hating memecoins in general- I've always thought of Eth as an avenue to cryptosocialism on a potentially global scale, and this kinda hypercapitalist shit makes my skin crawl. Other than folks like myself, I don't think many would have an issue with this as an *option*. The problem is that you can't turn it off. I was already considering leaving with their last change (giving all mints a 24 hour limit once they hit 100, and making memecoins out of those mints then) but it never really impacted me since most of what I posted was minor commemorative shit. But that on top of this and the other useful features they removed over the last year just makes the platform not worth using as an artist.
