I have never seen it promoted as healthy, but I have seen it promoted as healthier than alcohol. Everywhere that I have seen it legalized, it has been controlled in ways akin to how alcohol is.

advocating weed as a healthier alternative is what i take central issue to. 

i argue that promoting it as healthy has minimized the risks. we can advocate for it to be legal but also responsibly control it. weed does irrefutable harm to consistent users
