There is this concept of "selling the sawdust" that I really can't make part of myself.
How does it work? Should I cast about every minor update I make on projects I'm working on?

Trust your instincts. So much of the noise in my feed is these annoying, irrelevant “updates” that are just engagement farming.

No, i think thats just a feature demo, and thats awesome. The "sawdust" is more like productivity theater; like a hipster on youtube teaching you how to handcut dovetails. it's not that hard, nobody does it anymore for good reasons, but the ASMR is dope, i guess. 

You have the freedom to choose your own relationship to your labor.

The goal would be to make the sawdust valuable by showing a cool feature or something like that. Do you think that is too much too?
