Alright, since I have the qualifications of being 1/3 professional chef, maybe we do an AMA about cooking or your burning questions about food? I was in culinary school for a year and finished the first of three parts to become a certified red seal chef. I still have all my textbooks and recipes, so fire away!

I’ve been practicing a simple French omelette for a few weeks now. Haven’t gotten the creamy inside yet. I guess I’m afraid of taking it off the heat too soon. Any advice?

move your pan and the spatula you are using in opposite directions making sure to get all the bottom of the pan. lots of fat (butter, oil, whatever you use) and make sure its foaming. if you are on high, making the omelet should take no longer then 1 min. its fast vid from the goat https://youtu.be/_Wb5Crj917I?t=107
