trying one more time: me: crypto dev at @coinlist , slowly implementing new, and actually on-chain solutions while deprecating previous problematic centralized practices. Ethereum: big part of what I do every day. Currently thinking a lot about EIP5792. Will be casting deeply technical pieces, catered to devs

ETH purpose: 2017 - home for cryptokitties. 2025 - hmm.. if you are a dev its "be the defacto compatibility target". if you are a builder "where i launch my token so i don't have to raise". if you are a hodler.. oof.. bad day :)

Vision? The OG account based chain with executable smart contracts. UTXO chains are _svelte_ but there's a reason Vitalik's baby spawned a million clones... Purpose? Depends on the era. Ex: 2018 Eth Mainnet -> Home of Cryptokitties

depending on who is involved, what dependencies may be needed and what the lifetime of the app is. With a senior crew of experienced .js devs I would personally write vanilla. there are projects that do this successfully. Fastify for example. most cases however, particularly with .js, are going to involve less experienced devs who likely have a high comfort level with .ts. pick the right tool for the job. i just wish more .ts lib devs understood *wide interface at the top, narrow at the bottom* but i digress..
