I agree completely, but the reason we don’t have interesting designs is because not enough people will buy them in today’s market to justify them. This is a general problem with the cars we need vs. the cars we have. People who are equipped to make good decisions about cars tend not to buy new, so generally speaking, the manufacturers are making cars for those who know less. This then diminishes the pool of good new cars available, leading to a vicious cycle, hence where we are now.

Yes it’s a tough problem to solve it seems that some new thing is needed like maybe the invention of flying cars could provide a opportunity to shift the market
