Hoak, a developer of the Solana DEX Cypher, confessed to stealing approximately $315,000 from Cypher funds and losing them through gambling. He also admitted to similar misconduct on other occasions. In August 2023, Cypher experienced a security breach resulting in losses of nearly $1 million.
