we ended up not doing anything in Boston cos my phone got stolen!!! FWIW, i think almost all American cities are in a state of rotting decay. Austin is not particularly worse, but I do dislike the city aesthetic. We did the party in SF to capture OpenAI devday attention

generally agree about american cities but I think Austin is actually doing much better than most if not totally going against the grain. but i also believe that about Europe which I suspect you wouldn't agree with? p.s. sorry about your phone

yeah some european friends have been staying with me in LA and Vegas last few weeks and they can't believe how bad both cities have got. I dont know Austin well enough tbh. I def want to visit more based/libertarian areas of Texas, haven't spent enough time
