After today's press conference with the politicians freed from Russian prisons, I have hope again. My mom and I once imagined what we'd do on the day it all ended, when everything changes. We pictured everything in detail – where we'd go, how it would all be, how we'd call each other and celebrate. Mom said she'd drink chocolate liqueur, even though she doesn't usually drink. The image was so vivid, I even cried. The liqueur is bought and waiting in the cabinet, ready for its moment. I truly hope we won't have to wait decades for this event. Now I have hope. Without exaggeration, it will be the happiest day of my life.
