On hot days, I like to eat somen nagashi “flowing somen noodles”. Restaurants serve soba and udon noodles in-house, but somen noodles are so easy to make that they can be hard to serve in restaurants because they can be made quickly just by boiling dried noodles.nEven if you don't have this machine, you may be able to find somen noodles for sale if you look around.
