This movie can be called a 'textbook for women's growth' Title: Tokyo Noble Women The film reveals the similar challenges faced by women of different social classes - the values defined by marriage and the "female characters" disciplined by society - through a dual narrative between Huazo (played by Menwa Mai), who comes from a noble family in Tokyo, and Miki (played by Mizuhara Hisako), a struggling girl from a small town. Huazi was urged by her family to get married and became a tool for marriage alliances, while Meiji dropped out of school due to economic pressure and struggled to survive in the city. The two of them met the same man, but did not fall into the stereotype of "female competition". Instead, they saw the possibility of another life in each other and eventually broke free from the shackles, moving towards independence.
