This could be a great way to create and support more Higher-aligned projects If you’re thinking of launching a Higher-like token and haven’t yet - would this be interesting to you?

this seems like a great idea any downsides to a token launched with a higher pair instead of weth?

i haven't fully thought through all the implications - it seems to be working for all the $VIRTUAL associated agent tokens you can't buy it directly with ETH at first, but almost all front-ends do automatic routing anyways, so you would swap your ETH to HIGHER then to <TOKEN> It's a little less intuitive at first

Yep, routing is done automatically today. You may incur additional costs from routing through more pools but it depends on the fee tiers you use. You don’t need to use 1% for all pools. You could also go down to normal fee tier of 0.3%. Indeed, Virtuals has a similar setup: some people (builders and traders) aren’t happy about the fees that accrue which includes Ai agent creation, 1% trade fees for AI agents (in parts to pay for AI costs and in parts for extra incentives of top agents, pools etc). The Virtuals - AI agent trading pair is positive. Extra incentives are interesting but I believe less is more for the higher network and ecosystem tokens. It could be interesting to have a subinitiative launch that takes this job on and is focused on discovery of top ecosystem projects, incentivizing those with most mindshare, etc. (but there would need to be some revenue capture too for sustainability except subinitiative investor just want to bootstrap the higher ecosystem)
