Silver and gold were great! I love the 2nd gen starters so much

1st and 2nd gen.. i spent more time playing silver and gold than any of the 1st gen games.

No way! Yellow was my first as well! I bought a used version from gamestop, and i guess they forgot to wipe the memory cus i had nearly every legendary sitting there in my pc ready to go! Imagine the excitement i had as a child at the sight of that! I too once thought i was too cool and gave all my tcg cards away :(

Yellow was my first ever video game; I think I really got the hang of it with gold, and I played sapphire before I went through a phase of thinking I was too cool for Pokemon (impossible!) unfortunately I never played the card game but I think I would've liked it since I ended up getting into MtG later

favorite was HeartGold/SoulSilver I think they were gen 2 remakes? mfw I thought I beat the game and then a whole other half opens up O_O
