Will DAO Become the New 'Grand Narrative' of Human Cooperation, Ushering in Virtual World Civilization?

In 'Sapiens', Yuval Harari argued that humans could achieve large-scale cooperation through 'grand narratives'. Before that, humans likely struggled with large-scale cooperation. 

Large-scale cooperation in the virtual world is premised on lowering the trust cost.DAO is one of the grandest discourses in blockchain.

 

Although it's not yet mature, underestimating the potential of DAO might be a mistake.

I believe that DAO will become the foundation for enabling large-scale human cooperation in the virtual world. This transition, from a primitive state to a civilized society, is a significant step in the evolution of the virtual world.
