I hiked the PCT in 2015. It's a 2600ish mile hike from Mexico to Canada along the crest of the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges. Along the way, all sorts of people known as "trail angels" help strangers out with rides to town, or pop up "trail magic" stations...drinks, food, and other goodies. When hiking the PCT, you don't have much access to fresh fruits along the way because you have to pack dehydrated food, since you're carrying everything. The thing I craved the most when I was hiking it was fresh fruits, and especially watermelon. Today we're gonna go set up at one of the PCT road crossings and dish out some fresh cold fruit and beverage trail magic to the hikers.

This is amazing! I've been following my friend in instagram who is currently walking the trail and in the Tahoe region. Such a thoughtful thing to do. 2000 $degen
