I've been trying for so long to perfect the soft boiled egg. Do you start the timer when the water begins a proper boil?

A snow skiing Degen, loving farcaster. I love casts about skiing, outdoors, Mtn biking and football. I enjoy games, quizzes and host /category-quiz . 

Ah OK. I usually put the eggs in cold water then boil it. Thanks for the tips. 300 $degen I hate it when I overcook them

yes - i put the eggs in the already boiling water and then start the timer.

For salads or bowls I make it 7min +10 sec
If i am putting it on top of a bread like an avocado toast i make it slightly less - 6min + 50sec or 7 min
