Yesterday, Dan reiterated his commitment to farcaster channels: moving them on-chain, improving their tooling, and how important they are to 'caster's growth. /degen channel is ground zero for $DEGEN project. Moving the channel on-chain (community ownership) and providing the tools we need to grow, lastingly, is huge.

Could you shed more light on this community ownership and what to expect

I'm mostly reflecting Dan's choice of words. Until the spec arrives for on-chain channels, it's hard to be specific.

But the channel will be censorship resistant and client agnostic. right now, channels are WC specific.

From there, new tooling can be layered in, like native ERC-20 gating (also client agnostic) etc
