1/6 At the end of 2021, I wanted an astronaut PFP, so I decided to create my own. I designed the base and then dressed it as an astronaut. That same year, using the same base, @thais2 created an entire collection. It was a three-month project that we worked on for fun while taking care of a very sick cat, unable to leave the house—not even to go to the market.

2/6 I studied and wrote the code to randomly mix outfits and accessories, generating a collection of nearly 50,000 PFPs.

3/6 I also joined in the fun by creating some special editions: astronauts, divers, and zombies, bringing the total to almost 70,000. These were carefully curated, and we finalized the collection with a total of 10,209 Regulars.

4/6 That same code was later adapted to create the Vortex Dreams collection with only minor adjustments. All this time, the PFPs were kept safely stored and cherished, waiting for their moment in the spotlight. After so much effort, we didn’t want them to remain hidden. Finally, we found a home for them at @shape-l2.

5/6 For this same reason, we included some projects I deeply admire in the allowlist for discounted minting, such as 6529Collections memecards, clickcreateio, and @noblegallery. I also added my collectors to the list for a free mint of one piece. Remember, this is a collection created purely for fun, without traits to avoid triggering a wave of buying and selling, though there are a few very special ones—including my astronaut, which I couldn’t get myself. If you decide to collect one, do it because you genuinely like it.
