Question: Why was @farcaster the first (?) to successfully pitch "sufficient decentralization," when it so obvs makes sense? Was it tech issues? An ideological fetish for "full decentralization?" Did "sufficient decentralization" just need a good name and a smart white paper, and Farcaster finally accomplished it?

AT protocol from Bluesky is pretty similar, but they didn’t launch their app yet. One thing that Farcaster did right is to launch their app first before struggling with the ideal architecture, and @dwr.eth has good taste in choosing the pilot users.
