According to Lookonchain, the U.S. government's public wallet currently holds 198,109 BTC (about $16.92 billion). The U.S. government has previously transferred about 222,684 BTC (worth about $3.28 billion at the time, now worth about $19.42 billion) to Coinbase, Coinbase Prime and other unknown wallets at an average price of $14,736. At current prices, the U.S. government has lost about $16.14 billion by selling BTC in advance.
