I think you selected Contest mode instead of Paywall mode, so I can see the image until the contest ends.

if it's in "contest mode," the "settings" button is added to the frame(the paywalled mode does not have it.) The creator can some time after click on settings to finish the contest. Right after a contest is marked finished everyone can view the image. they should choose "paywall mode" from the drop down to make the image unlock after receiving tips. The usage for contest mode is "guess the image and win something" The usage for paywall mode would be "pay me and see what I shared"
