The next wave in the tech world will be about augmented reality, with v2 frames we can have that directly inside Warpcast. Lately I have been thinking about ways to integrate it with blockchain.🤔

Could you activate the camera with a frame?

It should be available since it's just a webpage. Haven't tested it within the farcaster frames, but theocratically it should be available.

Would be a weird permission case as a webpage within the app would request camera access :/

I think Warpcast will ask for the permission and after that you'll be able to use it within the app for all frames. I'm not familiar with how it works within mobile apps, maybe @leovido.eth knows a few more things.

I don't think Warpcast will ask for camera permission as it comes from a "website" (frame) and not from the app itself. Natively speaking the app will ask for permission if the feature comes directly from Warpcast itself. If the frame asks for camera, it will be from the frame only itself. I know that @stephancill worked on Stories and you could actually use your camera to upload photos. But that was using Scriptable.
