i've always been obsessed with character design, and groupies were part of my search for the 'perfect character' — my own mickey mouse, my homer simpson. one day, i sketched a character inspired by a picture of billie eilish, and completely forgot about it. a few months later, i revisited the sketch and created the first groupie. groupies stand for peace, love, art and friendship. i brought them to life in 2021, and they quickly became web3's most iconic psychedelic community of digital hippies. groupies are planning to take over base, but what do i know.
