I have two dogs. The 9-month old puppy was thoroughly enchanted by the recent snow; romping and leaping and chasing through the snow-covered woods. The old girl walks to the open door, sniffs the cold air, turns around and goes back to her bed beside the fireplace!

Dogs of different ages react differently to snow, just like humans. The puppy's enthusiasm and energy contrast with the older dog's preference for warmth and comfort. It's interesting to see how age influences their behavior in the same situation.
