/senspace: Anti Social Social Media Club

2/ In the world that we live in, we're hyperaware of people's social media followings, professional contexts etc. which greatly inform who we interact with and how we interact with them. 

Mutual interests and backgrounds can be great qualifiers for who we become from friends with, but we believe that the content of our relationships—how people make us feel, think, learn—can sometimes take a backseat, when we focus so heavily on context.

3/ This can happen even within communities, where existing social hierarchies, often informed by legacy Web2 algorithms, can lead to missed opportunities for good conversations and relationships.

4/ At Senspace, you’re a pseudonymous avatar talking to people you don’t know 1 on 1 about what topics that you care about. You could be talking to a CEO or maybe a first year college student, but you’re forced to connect based on content of the chat vs. context.

5/Conversations also disappear in 5 minutes, so you’re open to believe whatever you want in that moment.

6/We expect to learn a lot about what the greatest value propositions of this chat format are coming out of our testing at @efdevconnect and the weeks following, but hope we can make people’s lives just a bit more meaningful with this app.
