Sometimes when American dudes find out I'm Australian, they'll immediately bring up Australia's gun ban... which is always a not fun convo to have when you're meeting people.  

One dude told me assault rifles aren't a problem because he could kill everyone in the room with a hammer (arrogant) and ever since then I wish I had challenged him on the spot to paintball where I'm fully kitted out and he's got a stick with paint on it.

Oh... I get the deadly animals all day every day... which I don't mind,  it gives me a chance to explain the deadliest of all,  the drop bear.

Yeah that’s always funny. I find that no matter how much I explain, people still think we have kangaroos in our backyards and snakes and spiders at our doorstep.
