Wasn’t sure where to cast this, but my son (17) just bought me breakfast for the first time at his favorite greasy spoon🥄 restaurant. Was going to stop him because I know he’ll just ask me for more money later 😆. But…he seemed really proud to offer, so I let him do it. He’s proud to be earning some of his own money, and I call that a success.

That’s a really special milestone. My oldest son just turned 18 and I love watching the sense of responsibility grow in him. Crazy because he’ll also always be a baby in my eyes.
