One of the sadder and more frustrating experiences working in larger organizations is seeing people who step in to fix problems being rewarded more than people who prevent problems from ever happening. If you’re a problem-preventer you have a second job to do which is making sure people know your value. (Unless you don’t care about recognition, raises or promotions)

That’s something that really annoys me. If you’re good at what you do but quiet about it, non one takes notice. You shouldn’t have to point it out to people.
