@dwr.eth @v @raz @salvino Here's a real look at what clannishness leads to in Farcaster! Really useful and interesting content simply does not reach and is not read by anyone at all. I have made a lot of interesting casts on the /theai channel all the time on the topic AI and, at least 30, only my followers read and give me likes, not followers of the /theai channel! There are only casts with a power badge get into the trending. You will look at and compare the rare content of top casters with the power badge of /theai channel and mine in this channel, you will find an amazing thing of clannishness. There are friends and there are strangers! Is this what you wanted to achieve in Farcaster?

Twitter doesn't have a badge, it's just a blue check that is being bought People generate content, the more and better it is, the more likely they are to get into the optimization feeds, there is no such artificial restriction and vague rules for obtaining a power badge. With deployment of power badge really creates just an artificial restriction and castes are not included in the trending.

I think that ML can be trained to categories and detect good posts which can bring value and which no. Just need a time and here it will appear

@dwr.eth @v @salvino Then why do we need channels at all? I might as well forgive the topic AI on my homepage, because only my followers will see this content anyway. In fact, it turns out that concrete people with power badge (a limited list) just get into the trending in the channels, and not good and useful content.
