scoop is brilliantly designed but I am wondering if the mechanism will sustain: 

1. the incentive to trade is to win the maximum pool

2. the only way to fill the pool is to trade (notice the stalement dependency)

3. the initial pool got seeded with first wave of players

what happens once the pool is empty? 

no more intention to trade 🔁 no more seeding of pool

unless I am missing an entire lens
