Modern: nature as art Art Nouveau architects were inspired by nature and created something completely new: curved lines, plant motifs, stained glass windows. Use of expensive materials, handmade. The decor becomes part of the building's mould. ▪️ Where to see: Gaudi House in Barcelona or Eliseevsky shop in St. Petersburg. 💡 Look for the rhythm of natural lines and a combination of functionality with art in modernism.
